Since discovering Bob Dylan (met in 1988), I've often thought that by combining words and music, songwriting is the supreme art form. Among my favourite songs: Chimes of Freedom (Dylan), If you Leave Me Now (Brel), You Never Give me your Money (McCartney), Young Hearts Run Free (Crawford), Chattanoogo Choo Choo (Warren/ Gordon) ... too many to mention.
